They want to jail
The single mother
For stealing baby milk
Build more prisons
Instead of spending upon
Those struggling ends to meet.
A billionaire
Who avoids his tax
The government leaves alone
Its easier to kick
The low paid
Those who need a home.
From the country
Thats seems intent
To make the vunerable pay
Dare not ask the rich
We know what
They will say.
Its not how you treat
The wealthy
Its how you treat
Those in need
People deserve respect
When down on their knees.

They used to say that charity starts at home.
I doubt there would be as much poverty it we understand what that meant.
so true, thanking you, appreciated
Why must we rely on government to take care of the poor when it should come from each individual that sees it? Everyone is responsible for taking care of their fellow man. Nicely written
Its just if wages dont pay enough for bills, its obvious that problems arise, and debt spirals leading to greater problems within society, crime etc,
Thanking you and always your input greatly appreciated
It is so true and we live in a society where greed it the fuel for advancement. Unfortunately this discriminates against the poor. You are most welcome
