Refuge

Will Kevin

My desire for you

Like sparks on cotton

Has consumed my heart whole

I spend my days

Thinking of how bright

You made them

But the void left by your absence

Always lingers when you're gone

But the hope

Of falling into your embrace later

Keeps my burnt heart hopeful

For it is in your arms

That I find solace

After a tiring day
