Sol

For a moment, I felt peace

A delicate luxury gifted to me

And as I stared out the window

The world felt brighter

I'm diseased, I know

My head is often clouded

But for a brief moment

All was so clear

Its hard to see sometimes

When doubt fills the eyes

Then the fog lifted briefly

And the sun shined radiantly

I dont claim my negativity

But its mine reluctantly

So while it is here

I'll try to show it light

For that moment, I felt peace

One worth wanting for

And no matter how long

I'll find my way back again

For that fleeting peace

Made my world brighter

Very relatable write, when those rare moment's happen amongst the chaos of the mind, we have to treasure them, nicely expressed and written

A beautiful poem that shows fleeting moments of brightness worth pursuing. Nicely worded this poem takes the reader on that journey.
