UNSUNG HERO

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

A daily obituary
Very sad news
Of someone I knew
When at school

A loner most times
Didnt fit in
Shunned by the girls
Dismissed by the boys
But always kept trying
School dances and more
It hit me much harder
Than it would have before.

He died without wife
No children at all
This unsung hero
Against all odds
In his death made me realise
Its resiliance that counts.
