When birds start to sing and Mother Nature takes a breath,
When her tears from the past night still sit on the leaves,
When her foggy night turns green with flowers that smell so fresh,
And as the earth begins to awaken, I wonder—does she ever think
Of what it might have been like if her storm had never ended?
If her tears would ever dry, or if the sun would ever shine?
If the birds that sing so sweet would rise to greet her with glee?
I wonder if she ever feels alone,
Burdened by every single thing that falls on her shoulders—
When trees fall down, when people are lost to floods,
Thieves of life and peace.
Does she ever feel like giving up,
Because everyone always blames the one above?
If she ever wished she weren’t the one to be blamed,
If her storms didn’t linger a day too long,
If her sweet dew never came to refresh a single thing—
What would we say then?
Would we still blame her?
Would we miss her, or wish she were here?
If we looked for birds and heard no song,
Would we notice the little things—
The quiet absence of Mother Nature?
Would we go out and smell her dew,
Or simply wipe our shoes?
Tell me, do you care that Mother Nature fades with the air,
That her dew-tears shine in the moonlight?
I wonder if we care enough to thank her at sunrise.

A beautiful thought expressed in verse. Nicely worded a poem of gratitude well deserved and yes I would miss her.
A wonderful write with a beautiful thought, we need to value and respect nature much more than we do, but nature is much more resilient than us and will long out live us, enjoyed the read
Beautiful
