Have You Ever?

GBear90

Have you ever just wanted to be heard

Just wanted to be seen, Your feelings are absurd...they don't mean anything,

Have you ever felt lost,

Without direction or choice,

Wishing one day you will be brave and have a voice, Have you ever felt ashamed angry and saddened, Wondering why you are always getting mad and, Never understanding why you feel so alone, In a room full of people you feel right at home, in your shell where you dwell, in silence. Have you ever had violence at your door, waiting for action always craving more, Have you ever taken a breath not knowing it's the last, feeling your pain, remembering your past, Will this feeling last, Have you ever felt the tear in your heart, the memory of the name that took the vains all apart, Have you ever dreamt of your desires, Buildings in landscape they drape all with fires, Filthy liars, Have you ever smelled the scent of the past, The feeling of loss, sorrows won't last,

Ever just missed someone and knew that you couldn't,

Know the truth and wanna talk but shouldn't,

Ever just want to feel less and say more,

Ever hurt till your heart and your head are sore,

Ever just thought it's fine I'm alright,

Ever just thought I don't wanna fight,

Through the memories and the ache of missing them best,

With a whole in your heart no breath in your chest,

Ever just thought you were doing the right thing,

No matter the pain and sorrow that it brings,

Ever just hate feeling at all,

No one to fix that tumbling wall,

Ever just thought this isn't enough,

Meaningless lies of happiness fluff,

Thinking that you are not enough,

Isn't it tough?

Ever just took a breath in,

And the feeling of emptiness starts to creep in,

And you think of a time when you felt alright,

Ever just want to say the words but you stop it,

Just let it sink in, no bottom or top, it just feels like a cycle with wheels all on fire,

My feelings are dire,

Ever just felt like feeling is too much,

Too much energy, too much stress, too much is too much,

Is it Ever enough?

Enough.
