What Kind Of Heart Celebrates Destruction

What Kind of Heart Celebrates Destruction?*

While some rejoice
at the looming threat of nuclear war
on one side,
and the ongoing genocide in Palestine
on the other—
we must ask:
*what kind of heart dances in the shadow of flames?*

This is not the spirit of peace,
but of sadism—
a hollow laugh echoing
through the ruins of humanity.

True ambassadors of peace
do not glorify Qiyamah (the end);
they do not whisper prophecies
like curses.
They dig their hands into the earth
and plant seeds—
not tombstones.

They dream of a world
where justice is not a ghost,
where dignity is not a relic,
where light does not flicker
like a dying candle.

Let us not be numb spectators
to suffering—
let our voices rise,
not in celebration of endings,
but in defiance of them.

Let us be healers,
mending the fractures of the world.
Let us be builders,
raising homes from the rubble of hate.
Let us be lovers of life—
even when death
wears its loudest grin.
