She walks a road I can’t follow—
not fully.
A solo path lined with shadows I can’t name,
but I hear her soul scream through the silence.
It’s not in her words.
It’s in the pauses.
The sighs.
The ache behind the smile.
She’s carrying pain
that’s worn into her bones,
the kind that no one sees
until they love her close enough to feel it.
And God—do I feel it.
She doesn’t know
that I’d carry half of it
without flinching.
That I’ve got arms built for that weight.
Not to rescue her—
but to walk beside her,
step for step,
heart to heart.
Our path won’t be easy.
We’ll bleed.
We’ll bruise.
But together—
we conquer what would destroy us alone.
I don’t want to watch her disappear
down a road that keeps her quiet and small.
I want to meet her
where the pain ends
and the healing begins.
Not as her escape.
But as her equal.
Her anchor.
Her home.

Noble and caring where helping is sharing. A good read that offers a solution that is not condescending but an offering. Well done
A lovely write of understanding, caring and offering of support, nicely written
