TIME WARP

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

I heard a voice
Youre late again
Whispered sweet
From silence came
I turned to face
I thought it was you
A mere 50 years ago
Could it be true ?

You walked past
The old man I
To your lover
Eye to eye
Lips to lips
Arms to arms
The time warp stopped
To present times.

It taught me
Something of love
Not where it ends
Or begun
The moments still
Locked in time
Despite the joy
Or tears cried.
