Ode to My Poetic Side

Matthew R. Callies

In the vast digital sea, a haven glows,

Where verses dance and passion freely flows.

My Poetic Side, a poet’s sacred ground,

Where heartstrings hum and muses are found.

A canvas of words, both bold and shy,

From sonnets that soar to laments that cry.

Each stanza shared, a soul’s soft plea,

Connecting dreamers across eternity.

The pages hum with voices old and new,

From Keats’ soft whispers to a modern hue.

A library of longing, love, and strife,

Each poem a pulse of a poet’s life.

Community blooms where comments entwine,

Encouraging hearts to let their light shine.

For novice or bard, there’s space to grow,

In this quiet corner where feelings flow.

Oh, My Poetic Side, you gentle muse,

You cradle the words we dare not lose.

A sanctuary for the heart’s refrain,

Where poetry lives, and dreams remain.
