Throwback to a foregone era

Doc X

The first meeting was a chance encounter,

She looked at me as another stranger

The random glance, the occasional smile,

Time ceased to exist for quite a while

The random pleasantries became a bit more meaningful,

I felt the start of something wonderful

The first date was warm and cordial,

The feeling was truly celestial

I didn't realise when I started falling for her,

So many thoughts, all in a cluster

And when she said she felt the same,

It ignited between us an ever-candescent flame

Some relations can never be understood,

Our vibes have an immeasurable amplitude

She is my rock, my heartbeat, and my anchor

She possesses the magic to dissipate all my rancour

She laughs when I tell her that in her eyes I see the cosmos,

The truth is, I'll always be her Hulk, and she, my Betty Ross
