Come gather ’round, both young and old,
Let’s talk about money—brave and bold!
It’s not just coins or paper bills,
It’s freedom, dreams, and future thrills!
I earned a dollar, maybe two,
Now what’s a savvy kid to do?
Spend it fast on snacks and fun?
Or stash it till the week is done?
Boogie with your budget, dance it right,
Track those dollars day and night!
Needs come first, then maybe treats,
Balance it out and life feels sweet!
Shoes with lights or shoes that fit?
That latest game or save a bit?
Mom says, “Think before you pay!”
I nod and plan my week, hooray!
Rent and food, those bills are tight,
But we still dance in the budget light.
Emergency fund’s a secret stash,
So life’s surprises don’t steal our cash!
A little now, a lot real soon,
Like planting coins beneath the moon.
They grow with time—just wait and see,
Compound magic sets you free!
Budget boogie, shake your doubt,
Plan it well, don’t do without!
Money smart is power, true—
And guess what? It starts with YOU!

I thought that you were going to say lend it to weaker kids with large interest they can't pay off so you will have a continual income. A fun and informative read.
Really enjoyed this read, entertaining, informative and nicely written
