I see the thing I despise
the dream that has harmed me
repeated themes, a reprise, ever waiting to disarm me
to take blue from my skies
refuse mercies from my pleas
fill my world full of lies, uproot foundations that do bind me
all my hope traversed by flies
a wasteland to surround me
to lay a life out crosswise, trample all that's found beneath thee
I see with Argus-eyed pride
from the optics that you gave me
and now am fully apprised of decay that does compound me
I wait, lost soul's disguise,
for ill fate to befall thee
for a wave that will capsize, wash away what hangs before me

Dark and foreboding this poem speaks of awaiting for reprisal of justice. A lovely write.
Dark and quite haunting write of waiting for justice to be delivered, nicely expressed and written
