Watching you

Maplespal

If I stalk and catch you by surprise,
will I be the one to catch you telling lies?
You claim to be full of bolden truth,
hiding the facts of your golden tooth.
Confusion and clarification left to find,
victimized common sense you leave behind.

Will I,
catch you telling your lies?
Do I,
need to catch you by surprise?
Are you,
ready to be known true?
I am,
watching everything you do.

I love the suspense. Constant vigilance required in an age of, as some like to say, alternative facts, who to believe? Great write!!
