Just a seed

Poet's Dream

I am just a seed

Floating in the wind

Nothing but a seed

In the oblivion

I have traveled far

And seen many sites

I've seen love and sorrow

I've seen make ups and fights

I've had friends

And I've had foes

I've had anxiety and sadness

But I've tamed those woes

Now I am ready to land

Somewhere soft, soil or sand

Under warm sun with gentle light rays

And cool rain showers to wash off past pain

I wish to be planted deep down in the earth

I don't know what I'll grow into

But I know that whatever I'll be

I will make sure

To always be me

Each seed becomes what its destiny and biochemistry dictate. The apple does not fall far from the tree and an apple tree can not sprout a cherry tree. Everything in its season. Good poem
