Loved both the format and the message in this poem. Short and to the point it's wording is frustrating in reminding of messages received where access is denied on line. Password changed, wrong user name, account disabled, no record of such account on and on access denied where one had been before. The fun stops. A pertinent and poignant write Tobani

It has a slightly formal, almost ceremonial feel compared to how we’d phrase it in modern languages; like something a toga‑wearing stand‑up comic might say after a clever punchline. “I thank you for the joke”🕊️🙏🏻

I guess the most fascinating angle on this gorgeous beauty is how many times I've spoken it aloud to acknowledge that's what I/we are irresistibly staring down. After that, pardon et moi, I don't know any Latin, excepting "pig Latin: ig pay atin lay." Awesomely rendered with a disturbingly haunting and deadly poignancy. Thank you for sharing.
