The Colour Rhyme

Priya Tomar

I sing a colour rhyme

Once upon a time

White in a blue suit

Praising his pink fruit

Tale is tragic sad

Dress dyed with red

No cotton , no spice

That' s skin , merciless mice !

Dirted mother's green gown

Ruined silky streets of town

Forced soft hands into iron plough

Indigo rhym ends now....

Priya, this reads like a fable wrapped in vivid threads. The colors pull you in, but the story underneath is sharp and unflinching. That closing indigo line ties it all together beautifully, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
