Holding Hope..

I’ve been wading through this tidal wave, only hoping that it pulls me closer to you, for you taught me the values of love and life as you gave me your hand to make it official and prove to my broken heart that we’ll be best friends until the end of time.. Your big oceanic eyes hold the vastness of the sea, allowing me to see the rest of my voyage whenever I’m holding you because you rescued me from going overboard.. You saw me frantic and sad, so you waved and yelled Hey; and in that moment, my heart knew it was being welcomed home, and now we’re both floating above a sky of rainbows.. You awaken feelings I’ve never experienced before because with you, I finally have security, and now I always know which way to go.. Your love is my greatest blessing because it saved me from my own demise, for at last I have a purpose whenever I’m looking into your precious eyes.. I hope that I can be your knight and protect you from the enemies in disguise because I’ll be slaying these dragons all night for you..  You give me the confidence daily to become a beast in the gym because from this day forward, I have a gym buddy who can see the beauty in my darkness and still come home with me at the end of the day.. I never want to lose these feelings you place into my soul, because you’re the only one who makes me feel at home.. I had lost grasp of reality and everything was spiraling out of control, but then the fucked up universe sent me the blessing of meeting you.. Forever and always it’ll be you and me because time freezes whenever you’re holding me..
