Consciousness or cyborg

……Literally uploaded, consciousness has been decoded, ram and rom are just a few of my components, a supercilious metallic brow, keeps me feeling human for awhile, or is it just my programming, sense or sensor a image was entered, I uttered the words I miss her, but do I have lips to kiss her, let’s hope it’s in my hard drive…. Are these telescopes or eyes, they implemented microscopic focus to my surprise, I can now see into the heavens and way pass our skies, flash memories make up my soul I suppose, no need for clothes, but will I ever feel clothed again, am I at least in control to sin, I detect spying probes within, surely I’m not made of tin, a character from the wizard of Oz with a new spin, wait a minute; this is just another form of slavery all over again….

Cleverly worded and rhymed this poem contains tongue in cheek questions that really are valid concerns about AI and future robotics. Very nicely done and a fave.
