Pull and Part

Krishna?

The parts of me,

Dispersed in the trenches of her,

Immersed in an ocean of hope,

Or maybe just glimpses of her.

We meet, then we part , and we meet again

In each other’s pretentious eyes, we see the quietest pain.

It feels like you’re pulling me from those darkest graves,

And then , you leave again...

Now i wander through the streets, all crowded;

As grief wraps around me, it feels like I'm shrouded.

I long to feel on my face your cold fingertips,

And i want to see the warmth of my love melting your frozen lips.

Each shadow i meet, whispers softly your name,

And now i want in your trenches, to be dispersed again...

    Here I feel a sense of longing for something lost. A call from the past. Nicely written
