There's a pretty damsel that I know,
A pretty face displaying a heavenly glow
Born with a heart of gold,
All her traits that make her bold
A voice that's addictive and melodious,
With such lips that are quite vivacious
Her gait being graceful and full of elegance,
Oh, what a joy to watch she is! Such exuberance
She catches me casting an eye towards her,
Comes over to say "how you doin' stranger,"
That first conversation, I'll never forget,
So much elation, not a hint of regret
With her hand clasped with mine, I lead her to the dance floor,
Her hidden talents now being brought to the fore
We danced away through the night, looking in each other's eyes,
A promise we made to each other, a life together in paradise
