The gridiron passion

Nicole Pritchard

On the field, he once would shine

A wide receiver, swift and fine

Catching passes, making plays

His passion for the game on full display

Now, on the couch, he sits with pride

Yelling at the tv, side by side

Win or lose, his team's his heart

Every play, a work of art

He cheers and jeers, he screams with glee

His emotions raw, his spirit free

The game's a rollercoaster, up and down

But his love for football never fades

Though his playing days are behind

Hiss passion for the game remains unaligned

He'll cheer on his team, through thick and thin

Forever a fan, forever to win
