Wary glances are cast;
They look at me now
But by tomorrow -
I'll be as dispersed vapor.
If rumors shot bullets -
I'd be in the grave.
Thank you, Lord – I'm alive
But I wonder, what for?

A reflective poem that asks the reader to reflect as well. Nicely done
Life and love sure is tough, and the lord does work in mysterious ways.
I was never quite sure how those ways worked.
The old age philosophical question… first off great poem the rest is history
