refrigerator
left open. what did you take?
it's only spilt milk.

Clever and an interesting thought. Well done
thanks
You are most welcome
Can you explain this one too me, just tryna understand more. Feels like it was written in the moment
its about a break up. one person left, and the other sees it as "spilt milk"
Now this is a master class Senryu, Hayleigh and I don't say that lightly. Haiku-like in structure (5-7-5) and, instead of a nature or seasonal focus (haiku), itโs centered on human behavior/emotion, irony, and wit...the humor of a fridge left open, the accusation, and then the shrugging โitโs only spilt milk.โ Perfection, my dear friend. This is a fave from me just on nailing the senryu alone, let alone its meaning. Powerful stuff! ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
glad you think so, thanks for reading!
Indeed I do, and you are most welcome.
