Where the mind is

Maplespal

Flames they're dancing in my minds view,
snow it's falling in front of my eyes to.
Outer layers keeping the wind at bay,
internally enjoying a hot summers day.
Frozen slow paced cold from a far,
distanced is my warm running car.
Then again, I'm neither here nor there,
I'm on my porch, across the lake I stare.

Like a puppy having to train the mind to sit still and enjoy where we are….but now I ask myself How did I get in this trash can?
