Off The Walls

Pita

Heart is beating wildly no restraints
My chest is heaving with the weight of pain
The shame of sin and anger makes me faint
Was all the effort put in made in vain?

In the midst of all this they keep pushing
Portraying friendship with their selfish love
Popularity seekers go fishing
Their vanity they wear like a snug glove

But it's not enough to make me forget
The years of built resilience and it's strength
Sin won't get the better of me, I won't fret
I'll keep loving the fakers at arm's length

God, who sees all, forgive me and fill me
Take this into account and set me free
