Do you keep your head all the way down?
Always smiling but on the inside want to frown?

Ignoring when others are being bullied daily?
Weakness and selfishness equals spiritual frailty.

Scared to speak when the bosses do you wrong?
If you can't obey hypocrites you'll not last long.
Are you a good worker?
Why complain when the manager doubles up as HR?
Keep your mouth shut and kiss ass then you'll go very far.

I was an excellent manager (was I? lol). I insisted everyone kiss my boots daily. heehee.
Haha, so cruel.
The workplace has always been a difficult political playing field but today is even more so with job longevity being quite fleeting. Job security no longer exists. A relatable read.
Indeed, corporate slavery for as long as they can use you.
