I have a friend,
Who is experienced.
What's woven into him,
Is love -
As I,
Don't have much experience.
We lived together,
And he had a partner.
I was jealous of him,
And wanted what was his.
Naive of my own feelings,
I let them show.
Did I cross the line?
We are living together,
Only temporarily.
He has a partner,
While I await for mine.
Patience is what I need.
He loves him platonically,
I know he wants sexuality.
I could give it to him,
If he'd ask -
It'd be our little secret.
Who am I kidding?
He has love,
I don't.
This feels taboo,
Have I crossed the line?

Values explored in this poem and boundaries where one begins and the other ends fuzzy areas. Well written with a question formate. Loved it
A dilemma many have come across, where the boundaries can easily become blurred, nicely expressed and written
