taste temptation,
drown inside of me.
defamation
to my temple, my body.
I cry and I plead,
my eyes will not reach
this monster I feed,
that I have beseeched.
my eyes are listless,
they stare at nothing.
you study my stillness,
like you're expecting something.
you will get bored with me,
I decay, cloudy eyes unable to see.

A sense of darkness and decay mentioned here. Well done
thanks
You are most welcome
Beautifully crafted, Hayleigh. The stillness is unnervingโฆeach line folding in like a curtain over light. The decay isnโt shouted, it just settles heavy. Powerful piece. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ A fave.
