Just Being

Jack Winsley

What shall we do today my love?

What shall we do today?

We’ll lie in a boat

Not even afloat

And pass the time away.

Though nothing was heard

Not a single word

Save the cry of the seabirds flying

They pledged their love to the heavens above

For ever and ever undying.
