She Like The Ocean

Novablue

Like the ocean
She rose and fell
Her waves with sounds,
Sounds of despair
Sounds of joys
Endless dance
Of the storms she held in
Mermaids fishes and the
Sailors she drowned
She carried em all
Inside depth unimagined
Enveloped in enigma
Full yet empty
Nothin inside
Untamed and wild
A puzzle never solved
Yet she existed loud and proud

A wonderful poem of our mother of origin, from her we were all born. Melville used it and its creatures and elements to describe the human psyche, our inner self. Most wonderful
