Colours of shroud

Priya Tomar

white hides

Soulless secret

 In heart tides

Rise with regret

Shroud is red

From toes to head

Glowing gems and jewels

On lips no vowels

Brave soul wears

Saffron , no tears

Embrace coldness

For motherland's grace

Colourless for those

Questing musings in prose

Once in desert a blooming rose

Now in streams cactus grows

      It has cultural symbols.
      White shroud - dead
