The wolf an the snake

RSM0812

Life i⁶t flows like the clearest stream,

Reality is a feverous dream.

I wake and falter, till the sky it weeps,

And the tears will salter,

As my conscience keeps.

And a rainbow, in the black of night,

To witness colors, oh what a site.

The moon is a sliver, and the stars are bright

What madness and what delight.

Bring the universe to its knees,

As the depth of time blows its breath.

Float in the sky, over all 7 seas.

And whisper in the darkness, in the depth.

For better love of every man,

As human kind knows it can.

Treat the world, mad with sorrow,

Because there may not be another tomorrow.

Life is simply a miracle hence,

As the daisy’s bloom along the garden fence.

And the sun forever rises, in deepest skies,

As the wolf and the snake tells their lucid lies.

I love the roll of the rhyme in what seems to be a poem with almost Native American flavor. A most lovely write and a fave
