Allures in Illusions

Love often deceives,

Like the shining sundews.

Fades like rainbow dews.

Very wise for one so young, this poem expresses wisdom in poetic beauty. It paints a picture of illusion that with time becomes seen as a mirage that fades. Very nice Salvia a fave

Wow! This haiku-like poem is brilliant, dearest Salvia. It is a simple yet deeply profound metaphor that rings very true, when it comes to humans and the "love" they often give then take away. Powerful! 🌹🌹🌹🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛ Great picture too!

A poem so delicate but edged: a warning distilled into three quick breaths. The sundew’s glitter hides its hunger, much like affection can mask intent, and the rainbow’s beauty slips away even as you reach for it. It’s a reminder that not all shimmer is meant to be held, and not every glow stays long enough to warm.
