Thankful PT.1

Sunflowersinrain

I am thankful for my Lord,

Who has shown me his love.

Through his:

Love,

Life,

Salvation, 

Protection, 

Presence,

Warmth,

Care,

And forgiveness.

I was once a lost sheep.

You left the 99 others,

Just for me.

You gave your son,

For my sins,

And that is something,

I am not worthy of,

Not deserving of.

For years,

I denied your existence.

I denied the pleasures of:

Your promises,

Your guidance, 

Your patience (work in progress),

Your timing,

Your grace.

I am not worthy to bow at your feet,

To untie your sandals,

But I know you would, 

Wash my feet,

And take care of me,

As if you were a servant.

For your humbling love:

I thank you,

I bless you,

I love you,

I praise you,

I worship you,

I idol only you.

O Sovereign Lord,

And Jesus Christ of Nazarene,

Your son you sent to die on the cross,

The one who willingly died for my salvation,

Thank you. AMEN!
