Lost

Catherine Houston

Lost in a world of pain. Expecting a different outcome. Looking through the glass, I see a shield… protecting me from danger… from the ghosts of the past… looking ahead I see victory… looking in the clouds I see hope, but inside my heart is a vase of pain…. Inside my mind so much confusion exists… I have dreams, I have goals… but where is the space to pursue my purpose?

A poem of pain that confuses the mind and seems to impede action. Nicely written

Everyone needs space. I think even space needs space sometimes. What comes out of the silence?
