Another wonder in the desolate and barren wasteland,
Treading with a longing of purpose–to be heard,
Being unheard of, wanting a name for yourself becomes too much to withstand,
Desperate cries to have your voice received,
To leave the world behind in a golden legacy so unique,
For when you are gone those people will grieve,
Words that will bring out the best critique,
Such is the legacy that I long to leave behind,
Having my name known is always running through every inch of my mind,
When words can’t form and life looks bleak,
When you think poems have become obsolete,
Words that make you think–that makes you wonder,
A style of blended words and personality so recognizable,
Wanderers of my work will start to asunder,
Whether the meaning of my work could be divisible,
A legacy is something that you build,
An empty, dry soil that is waiting to be tilled,
Actions aren't a strong suit–words suit me more,
My legacy–these poems are going to be so much more,
The wasteland, no longer barren,
The first drop of azure rain, reminiscent of a first step,
The dry soil now glowing with vitality and life,
Determination soaring overhead, a strong and grateful Haron,
The water carrying away all doubt with each swept,
The seeds of the hope of a miraculous future planted with a vision of long-life.
The future ahead is looking bright,
I can see some hope tonight,
Remembering bad days and restless nights,
Keeping my head grounded and resent tight,
Strive towards the sun, and everything will be alright.
That–that is how you build a legacy!
