For You

Mithra

I cancelled all my plans,
I do it all the time now.
What if you called,
and I don't pick up?
What if you wanted to meet,
and I am somewhere else?
What if you needed something,
and I can't help?
The mere thought of,
not crossing your path,
eats me alive every day.
All of my schedule,
has empty spaces,
to fill you in.
All my days,
are planned in what ifs,
around only you.
For just a glance,
for just a glimpse,
for just a second,
for just a memory,
of you.
