Familiar place

Nicole Pritchard

When I'm alone, you're on my mind

A constant thought, a love so kind

Though distance feels like an endless sea

My heart beats for you, wild and free

Missing you feels like a familiar place

A habit formed, a love that's hard to erase

But in the memories, I find my glee

The times we shared, a joy that's meant to be

In the quiet hours, I think of you

Reaching for dreams, and all you pursue

I wouldn't change a thing, not one desire

Because loving you set my soul on fire

You're the warmth that chases away the night

The love we share, a guiding light

Though I'm alone, my heart is full

Thinking of you, my love, makes me whole
