Mother

David Hopkins

please help me find a rock….,

a pebble , one that’s not too big and one that’s not too small either .., just the right one for me.

you see I need protection from the world !

a pebble would do me fine.

it would cover me in my time of need for speed to slow me down,

yes a pebble would do just fine,

it would shield me

and

a shield it would be

my pebble and me.
