Think twice

Nicole Pritchard

Every day, you're loved, a precious find

But fear grips my heart, a constant bind

When you get behind the wheel, after drinking sway

I relive the past, the accident's dismay

The memories still linger, the pain and the fright

Living with fear, day and night

You're dear to me, my guiding light

I couldn't bear to lose you, my heart's in flight

I know you're strong, and capable too

But my love for you is pure, and true

I want to keep you safe, and sound

Not because I don't trust you, but because I'm bound

To love and protect you, with all my might

You're my partner, my friend, my shining light

Please, my love, think twice, don't take that risk

Your life is precious, don't let it slip
