In the middle

Sree

I stand where light and shadow meet, Neither in heaven nor in hell's seat.

A whisper in my mind that's just unclear-Is it hope, or is it fear?

God says, "Come to the light," But the devil says, "Come here to feel right."

I close my eyes-both voices keep going on, I can't choose what is right or wrong.

So here I stand, not a saint and not a sin, Just me, and the wars continue within.

And whatever I choose, that draws my fate, And I don't really want to regret It

The in between and indecision where one is unsure of what is right or wrong in a decision. Balanced and on the division a no man's land. Nicely described here
