Sleepwalking

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Are we sleepwalking into an algorithmic AI prison?
Warning signs all around but we bow down to the system.
Everybody wants to be called a chosen one all of a sudden,
Disguised and entered a Tekken tournament like Joe Budden.
What fear mongering are they cooking up in the kitchen?
Never trusted the government since birth, who won't listen?
A WHO pandemic treaty so they can drop more viruses,
How can you not tell that something totally amiss?
We, the public need to say that we're sick of this shit,
Another narcissistic attempt to break up an entangled spirit.
They are supposed to serve us and not the other way around,
Lies and deception are hiding something far more profound.

There's a creepy minor Algie character in a Bond film. He is supposed to be 'Q' but he is just moaning in some basement about things or other.

A poem that inspires distrust if not fear. One does not know what to trust anymore not even one's own eyes and ears. Shaky ground. Well done
