there's diamonds in your eyes
that I can see
across the the room
we're as free
as we are beautiful.
echoing the tension
all the way
from backstage.
you never stay,
or should I say...
you're made up of ash
from a cigarette,
and I of porcelain.
every word that I'll regret,
life is so plain.
take me in your arms,
help me to see stars
hallelujah!
how old are you again?
not that I could care,
take me to mars.

Wow! So many u forgettable lines in this gem, Hayleigh. That contrastโฆ โyouโre made up of ash from a cigarette, / and I of porcelainโโฆstopped me. Fragility and burn in one breathโฆthat image stays. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
