there's diamonds in your eyes

that I can see

across the the room

we're as free

as we are beautiful.

echoing the tension

all the way

from backstage.

you never stay,

or should I say...

you're made up of ash

from a cigarette,

and I of porcelain.

every word that I'll regret,

life is so plain.

take me in your arms,

help me to see stars

hallelujah!

how old are you again?

not that I could care,

take me to mars.

Wow! So many u forgettable lines in this gem, Hayleigh. That contrastโ€ฆ โ€œyouโ€™re made up of ash from a cigarette, / and I of porcelainโ€โ€ฆstopped me. Fragility and burn in one breathโ€ฆthat image stays. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›
