Peace is not found
in the noise of the world,
nor in the fleeting echoes
of what others call truth.
It is born in silence—
a seed beneath the ribs,
growing into breath,
growing into light.
Understanding blooms
when I return to that center,
and only then
can I meet the world
with open hands,
with clear eyes,
with an unshaken heart.

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem was born from a simple yet powerful truth: peace and understanding are not things we search for outside, but gifts that awaken within us. Writing it was a reminder to myself that clarity begins in silence, and only from that inner space can we meet the world with openness and love.

Centering oneself either physically by ones breathing or emotionally by self focus on one's own desires helps in finding peace. A lovely write
Thank you for your thoughtful words. It means a lot to me that the essence of centering and inner peace resonated with you. Writing, for me, is a way of returning to that silence and sharing it. I truly appreciate your reflection.
