Prayer of Thanksgiving and Awe

Samuel

Heavenly Father,

With a heart full of awe, I thank You.

Thank You for keeping me alive when the darkness was too heavy to bear.

Thank You for reaching into the deepest parts of my pain and showing me

that even in ashes, You plant the seeds of new life.

Lord, I see Your hand in my story,

in Camryn’s story,

and now, in the story we are walking together.

What was once broken, You are mending.

What felt impossible, You are making possible.

I thank You for protecting her heart, even when it wandered.

I thank You for protecting mine, even when it nearly gave out.

And I thank You, Lord, for weaving the threads of our love

back into something that carries Your fingerprints, not just our own.

You are the God of second chances,

the God of perfect timing,

the God who whispers “not yet” until the day You declare “now.”

And today, Lord, I bow in reverence—

because Your “now” has come.

Keep us humble, Father.

Keep us honest.

Keep us close to You and close to each other.

Let our love be less about ourselves and more about Your glory.

Let it be an example that healing is real,

forgiveness is stronger than failure,

and Your grace truly is enough.

I love You, Lord.

And I thank You with everything in me

for bringing me to this moment—

alive, redeemed, and ready to walk forward

with Camryn, with hope, and with You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
