I like the idea of choice for life is always a choice that often we blame on others or circumstances. A very nice write about taking responsibility for what we do. Nicely written
sometimes we are the victim of circumstances, and sometimes we sacrifice our dreams so that someone else can fulfil theirs..
i feel we should look after ourselves too, and try to realize our dreams
So true but for some their dream is to be the wind beneath another's wings.

personally i feel each should strive to achieve their own goals too - it's not selfishness at all: help others but strive to achieve your own ambitions and goals too..

yes it's a crucial choice, and we often tend to make the mistake of putting others before self all the time; and that may lead to resentment and frustration
so choice is in our hands - whom and what to put first
That, in various forms is everywhere.

We always tend to play the martyr and sacrifice for the sake of the family who will keep demanding more and more. So this is a call to look after self so that you have more to give others ✌️👍

I tend to conceive with pencil and then cement it with ink.

Wow this is a clever reflective piece for the reader, I guess I would choose the pencil, because I like to re-write mistakes, but then again I like to also see them and learn from them so it could well be the pen, with scribbled out lines, as for my family, they have never been anything but a rock holding me under water, so I chose my life and I don't regret a thing. 🌹 Brilliant maybe you should be a detective. You can get a confession easily.🤣
thanks for the response.. I don't get confessions, but do get a lot of sob stories because my shoulders are available for friends to lean on - sometimes i get stories from two friends who have fallen out with each other, and want to confide in me. have to be very careful not to choose sides.
