Fear of Falling

Neville

Fear of Falling

As autumn begins,

might this be

the very end of us ..

For today tho’ we cling

or we climb to long

   limbs and strong boughs ..

Come tomorrow,

we may fly, dance, or fall

   alone with the wind ..

Indeed seasons come and go and so do our seasons. Although some seem sad with the passing it is just as easy to be glad with the coming or better yet just observe the beauty of it all. Lovely Neville so fitting any time of year or age.

I like this. Well Said. It's Winter and his Bully Boy tactics I detest. Like a Motorcycle Gang riding into town.

              • Neville

                Precisely .. Cheers Kevin .. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

They may fall, but for a brief time we enjoy their beautiful colors, we even try to catch them as they drift to the ground. Such a lovely poem to welcom autumn, more than ready here.

it may be a free fall, and one may land in the soft cushion of dead leaves or may thud on the hard ground, depending on our luck

A fine write, Neville. Summer does seem to be over very suddenly. And it is getting dark by eight o'clock.
