A good morning to us

Maplespal

The sun lifting its heavy head.
The moon putting itself to bed.
A coolness hangs in the morning air,
those stirring this coolness we share.
Some pacing for work to hit the road,
others retired having reached the old.
In a few hours school rings its bell,
day beginning watching as the moon fell,
the night waiting for the sun to fall.
A good morning and day to us all.

A bright greeting for all this poem starts the day with sun and light. A lovely beginning to another day of life
