Day One

Fina Elara 🌙 -Petra Patrice

Day One

Day one, I made a plan.
Oops!  it didn’t work.
I tried, I cried,
and thankfully, it worked…
or so I thought.

Day two, I prayed,
because that’s what I knew growing up.
Only thing… I lost faith.

Where am I without faith and hope?
I need to regain these,
so there will be one more day
for success.

A poem about faith and its need. Well constructed it lays down the foundation then adds verse by verse to achieve the final message which is left inferred. More powerful that way

Beautifully crafted message of what I read as lost faith, jaded hope and the mean cycle of thought and doubt. It's a fav.
